ABOUT ME
MY STORY
I graduated with a degree in Marketing and a journalism certificate. Immediately upon graduation, I flew to Melbourne Australia to live out my personal dream of learning to create chocolate showpieces and petit gateaux at Savour School.
Upon my return, I joined the team at Coolhaus Ice Cream, a gourmet ice cream company with a national footprint in grocery store aisles, on their marketing team. I quickly became the Brand Manager and was responsible for all forward facing brand assets, social strategy and marketing campaigns for two and a half years. During this time my passion for pastry never wavered and, for about a year, I worked seven days a week - five in the office and two in the pastry kitchen at Republique under James Beard award winning pastry chef, Margarita Manzke.
Looking to combine both my passion for brand management and food in a deeper way, I joined Lady & Larder, a 100% domestic cheese shop that specializes in made-to-order cheese boards, to lead operations and assist in marketing and partnerships. This role taught me a profound respect for sourcing the best possible ingredients from farmers and makers and championing their products through storytelling.
Now, I continue to combine my passion for food with my marketing and operations background through consulting for innovative brands predominantly in the sustainable food and beverage space. While I pride myself as a Swiss army knife for emerging brands, my main focus these days falls into the brand & digital marketing bucket - managing email & SMS campaigns, brand partnerships, eCommerce, and new product launches.
Consulting has also allowed me the flexibility to continue playing with food in a professional way - working as a food stylist and creator with clients like Molly Baz, Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest, Penguin Random House, LifghtLife Tempeh and more.
When I’m not working, you can find me in the kitchen baking or cooking for loved ones, on a run, at the farmers market, or snuggled up with my two cats - Olive & Roux.
